Terra Nil

Terra Nil is a game about transforming a barren, lifeless landscape into a thriving, living ecosystem. In the process, you turn dead soil into fertile grasslands, clean polluted oceans, plant vast forests and create the ideal habitat for animals to call home. Then recycle the buildings, leaving trace that humans were ever there. Nature reclaims the wasteland.

In the process, advanced eco-technologies can be used to clean the soil and create plains, wetlands, beaches, rainforests, wildflowers and more - then everything is recycled in an environmentally friendly way, leaving the environment untouched for its new animal inhabitants. A reverse building system, so to speak.
The game is built on procedurally generated landscapes, which means that no two playthroughs of Terra Nile are the same. Plan your construction around random, challenging and unpredictable terrain, including meandering rivers, mountains, lowlands and oceans.
Each region of Terra Nil goes through phases with the ultimate goal of leaving untouched wilderness behind. Levels are not about infinite growth, but about balancing and nurturing the environment before leaving it alone.
Lush hand-painted environments, relaxing music and an atmospheric ambient soundscape make Terra Nile a peaceful, meditative experience. And when you are done, you can use the appreciation mode to bask in the natural beauty of the restored ecosystem.
