It has been 13 years since SEGA released the last major Sonic racing game. Following Sonic All Star Racing, Sonic Racing Crossworlds is now hitting the shelves, taking all the advantages of its predecessor and taking them to the next level. To test the servers and give everyone a taste of the game, the team is inviting players to take part in the open network test, and we will of course be testing the whole thing ourselves. So if you'd like to join in, you're more than welcome to do so. Pre-loading has already begun, which means you can already download the test version for your favorite platform.When does the networktest start?Start: Friday, August 29 5AM (CEST) End: Tuesday, September 2nd 5AM (CEST)Who can participate?All owners of an Epic account, a Steam account, Nintendo Switch 1 + 2 owners, owners of an Xbox Series X/S, or the Play Station 5 can participate. Nine tracks and seven cross worlds can be tested, and 12 characters are available to choose from during the test, who can show who is ahead in 21 vehicles. It is important to note that local multiplayer is not supported and the results and scores from the network test will not be carried over to the full version.
